The installation illustrates an ethnocentric political conceit reflecting a principal undermined by intransigence and arrogance.
The piece is an approximately 14 ft. by 15” line of flour sifted directly on the floor,the text is sifted pigment and turmeric.
The work is installed inconveniently near a high traffic area and across the diagonal of a large gallery slightly rerouting natural foot traffic. Interaction both accidental and intentional is anticipated. Degradation is an inevitable and integral part of the piece.
